The Advanced Offshore Research Portfolio project teams are staffed by a combination of NETL federal researchers, NETL site support contractors, university collaborators, ORISE research fellows, and Mickey Leland Energy Fellowship interns. In addition, the research projects may include coordination with other government agencies, non-government organizations, and industry. Listed below are some of the lead researchers and program managers working on Offshore Portfolio projects.
Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education (ORISE) Research Fellows is designed to encourage new scientists, engineers, and faculty to explore the challenges and opportunities available in energy research.
Mickey Leland Energy Fellows is a 10-week summer internship program that provides opportunities to students who are pursuing degrees in science, technology (IT), engineering, or mathematics (STEM majors).
The Team and their roles listed here include only Phase 2 projects of the Advanced Offshore Research Portfolio.
