Researchers from the U.S. Department of Energy’s National Risk Assessment Partnership (NRAP) participated in the fourth annual Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage (CCUS) Conference in Houston, TX March 2024, delivering four oral presentations and five poster presentations on NRAP open-source computational tools and use cases for CCUS quantitative risk assessment and risk management. The 2024 CCUS Conference was jointly sponsored by the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG), the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), and the Society for Exploration Geophysics (SEG) and brought together over 1,300 participants from around the world to advance commercial-scale CCUS development. Visit the 2024 CCUS event website to access NRAP abstracts and published presentations shared at CCUS.
