A white paper studying the applicability of various water reduction techniques to the coalbed natural gas development of the Powder River Basin in Montana and Wyoming was prepared as part of a research project funded by the National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL) of the DOE. This section presents a summary of the findings of this research as they may apply to various basins across the United States.
