This report represents an effort to present some of this subsurface data and discuss its significance to this UCG experiment. With this information, the directional properties of the coalbed, the physical dimensions of the coal seam, the magnitude of water influx, the lithology of adjoining roof and floor strata about the coal, and the extent of faulting and folding in the field have been determined.
