Advanced Carbon Dioxide Compression with Supersonic Technology

Dresser-Rand, a Siemens Business, is developing a unique compressor technology based upon flight-based supersonic/shockwave compression principles for use as a carbon dioxide (CO2) compressor. Advancing supersonic compressor technology will help meet overall goals of lower capital costs, smaller footprints, and improvedenergy efficiencies of carbon capture systems.
