Objectives of the Project: -Develop seismic-based technology that correlates and/or quantifies a reservoir's fluid-saturation properties and their spatial distribution to frequency-and angle-dependent reflectivity. -Project involves theory and processing-algorithm development, numerical and physical modeling, laboratory experiments, and field verification using seismic, well-log, and engineering data. -Develop extensions to wave-equation models with fluid-flow attenuation and target-oriented seismic processing are two major theoretical developments.
