Advanced Solvent-Based Carbon Capture Technology Development

Southern Company Services evaluated the technical and economic feasibility of adding an integrated stripper/reboiler, particulate matter management, and a new solvent to the existing 25-megawatt electric (MWe)-scale, amine-based Kansai Mitsubishi Carbon Dioxide Recovery Process (KM CDR Process™) at Southern Company's Plant Barry.
