Assessment of Hydrocarbon Seepage on Fort Peck

To determine the oil and gas potential of the area immediate to a large magnetic anomaly in the Smoke Creek sector of northeastern Montana, various geological, geophysical and geochemical methods are being applied. This report presents the results of n 300 square mile size involving two geophysical methods, Magnetic Susceptibility and Micronzagnetics, testing their applicability to exploring the region.
