Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) Inspection Using a 3D Laser

The objectives of this project was as follows: (1) Conduct close-in, high resolution structural inspection from an AUV. (2) Generate 3D models of subsea structures such as risers and flowlines. (3) Perform real-time detection of the flaws or damage against a prior structural models.
