The seminar was called to order at 1:30 pm by John Bell who commented on the purpose of the conferences and introduced the visitors. The program, as appended, was followed closely, except that at the beginning of the second, third, and fourth sessions one paper was held over from previous sessions. However, the program was concluded as scheduled.
