IEA GHG has now embarked on a program of work to derive the regional costs for CO2 storage. To begin the process of developing the costs for geologic storage of CO2 an initial baseline study was completed. The baseline study reviewed the major sources of anthropogenic CO2 and developed a global database of CIO2 emissions dealing quantities and locations.
