Clean Hydrogen Hubs and Geologic Storage Shapefiles

There are 6 shapefile folders:

  1. Potential geologies for H2 storage (These shapefiles are from Sandia National Laboratories)
  2. Natural gas storage sites and capacities (Shapefile using data from the Lackey et al., 2023 study - https://doi.org/10.1029/2022GL101420)
  3. Planned natural gas storage sites (Shapefile using data from the EIA – **specific locations represent that of the hosting county)
  4. Inactive natural gas storage sites (Shapefile using data from the EIA)
  5. Planned or existing H2 storage sites (Shapefile using data from various web sources)
  6. Clean hydrogen hubs from OCED (Shapefile by georeferencing the OCED figure (https://www.energy.gov/oced/regional-clean-hydrogen-hubs-selections-award-negotiations) and converted the hubs to polygons. This shapefile has three versions.)
