As will be evident when reading this thesis, a project of the scope discussed herein could not be accomplished by a single individual but required the coordinated efforts of a highly integrated team of professionals and non-professionals. The author of this thesis served as the technical project supervisor for the project with the responsibility to coordinate, review and approve all facets of the project. In addition to his supervisory responsibilities, the author assisted in the design of the project and was personally responsible for the operation and analysis of the test.
