DETERMINATION OF TYPES OF SULFUR COMPOUNDS IN PETROLEUM DISTILLATES

A system of analysis for sulfur groups in petroleum distillates has been developed as one phase of the Bureau of Mines investigation of the more economic utilization of the so-called “black oils” of Wyoming. This problem is being studied by the Bureau of Mines under a cooperative agreement with the University of Wyoming at the Bureau’s Petroleum Experiment Station, Laramie, Wyo.
