The contract objective required Shafer Exploration Company, Inc. to provide supervision and coordination to and for the Ohio Department of Energy (ODOE), Columbus, Ohio in the acquisition of: 1) a continuous 4" core through the Mississippian Sunbury Shale and the Cleveland, Chagrin and Huron Members of the Devonian Ohio Shale, and the shipment of same to the U.S. DOE, Laramie, Wyoming and, 2) the down hole geophysical logs of the core hole, including a down hole video tape record of the in-situ Mississippian and Devonian Shales.
