Collaboration on oil and natural gas research among DOE?s national laboratories has yielded significant energy, economic, and environmental benefits to America. The Natural Gas and Oil Technology Partnership (NGOTP), launched in 1988, brings together the expertise of DOE?s national laboratories in collaborative projects with each other and with the Nation's oil and gas producers, service companies, and academic institutions.
