This report, prepared by the Industrial Economic Division, Denver Research Institute of the University of Denver, for the Committee for Oil Shale Development, presents the results of a study of the economic effects of the development of an oil shale industry in Northwestern Colorado and indicates the minimum time required for the establishment of such an industry.
