Other (Open)

The objective of this research was to advance the electric utility phosphoric acid fuel cell technology. The research covered three broad areas: cell stack; fuel processing (reformers,5878 ); and power conditioning (inverters). This report details the results of ten technical tasks undertaken during the nearly five year project. The tasks are: reformer technology tube material catalyst operating limits investigation; inverter technology; subscale cell technology; cooler technology; multimegawatt inverter bridge technology; advanced reformer component technology; water treatment technology; subscale cell technology extension; and advanced reformer component testing. Each task report has been processed separately for inclusion on the data base. (CK)
