Technical progress on DOE Contract No. EX-76-C-01-1726 during the period March 1 through May 31, 1979 is described herein. Preparation of the SGT/PFB Technology Unit for evaluation of an improved hot gas cleanup system and extended materials testing is discussed. Conceptual design of all key components of the Pilot Plant has been completed. Approval for procurement of long lead material and certified drawings of subcontractor equipment was received from DOE.
