The data presented herein portrays at least some of the thoughts of those engaged in obtaining oil from oil shale in Europe, and they depict some of the results thus far obtained as well as certain plans for further efforts to win oil from shale; it is hoped that those who undertake the development of a shale-treating industry in this country will find useful information in this report.
