In April 1974 Hampshire Gas Company entered into a Cooperative Agreement with the U. S. Bureau of Mines to participate in an explosive fracturing experiment. Hampshire's responsibilities under the agreement were to furnish three wells in the Augusta-Little Capon Field for the demonstration and to have a representative available for consultation during all phases of the test. In order to implement the Cooperative Agreement, Hampshire further executed a Cost-Reimbursement contract with the Bureau in August 1974 to provide the preparatory service work prior to the explosive placement and detonation, provide the services necessary to clean out each well after the test and to accomplish the production evaluation before and after the test on each well. This report is a summary of the work accomplished by Hampshire in the discharge of its obligations under the above agreement.
