Surface ornamentation on a regional fracture within a sandstone of the Frontier Formation, south-western Wyoming. The fracture plane parallels the plane of the figure. It originated at a local in homogeneity within the circular arrest lines near the end of the hammer handle, and propagated outward along the feathery "plumose" structure.
