Accomplishments for the following tasks are presented: Task No. 1 simplified models; Task No. 4 rigorous models; Task No. 2 review of existing gasifier models; and Task No. 5 evaluation and upgrading of the ASPEN cost estimation and evaluation system. Tasks Nos. 1 and 4 cover the following: (1) Area 3000 - oxygen plant, direct contact air cooling; (2) Area 4600 - PHOSAM; and (3) Area 5000 - steam distribution.
