An industry accepted and participatory study to provide understanding of those aspects of deepwater drilling systems in which human error can lead to failure to meet system goals, which can guide operators, designers, vendors, service providers, and others in developing system improvements. The study includes the development and field testing of appropriate software to address the issue of predicting human error.
