Methane gas hydrate was synthesized in three uniform mixtures of Ottawa sand and distilled water using the Gas Hydrate And Sediment Test Laboratory Instrument (GHASTLI) to examine hydrate formation behavior and its effects on compressional wave transmission in partially saturated granular material.
