This report represents the results from the hydrological environmental monitoring of the Prcetown I underground Coal Gasification site near Pricetown, West Virginia. This study was funded by the U.S. Department of Energy, Morgantown Energy Technology Center. Personnel at West Virginia University conducted the study with the aid of METC personnel. Environmental monitoring began during 1977; the first year of the pre-burn study phase, as given in the first annual report for September, 1977 - September,, 1978, is on open file with the METC. The present report covers the October, 1978, is on open file with the METC. The present report covers the October, 1978 - February, 1980 period, which spans pre-burn, burn, and initial post-burn phases. The active burn test at the Pricetown I site lasted from June to October, 1979.
