The Bluebell field produces from the Tertiary lower Green River and Wasatch Formations of the Uinta Basin, Utah. The productive interval consists of thousands of feet of interbedded fractured clastic and carbonate beds deposited in a fluvial dominated deltaic lacustrine environment. Although some wells have produced over 1 million barrels (1 59,000 m3) of oil, many have produced only 100,000 to 250,000 barrels (1 5,000-31,000 m3), or less, of oil.
