The chief objective of any revegetation program is to replace vegetation and the habitat that vegetation provides. The effective rehabilitation of disturbed areas is the end point of this objective. Reaching this point required the initial establishment of vegetation that will ultimately provide suitable cover to deter erosion and provide forage for wildlife and domestic livestock.
