"Experimental energy development facilities either operated and/or managed by the DOE, LETC have been inventoried for process waste effluents. Preliminary process waste inventories include gaseous, liquid, and solid wastes from each of the experimental facilities. Appropriate control technologies have been reviewed and applied to these inventories of uncontrolled effluent levels to define controlled effluent levels. Environmental requirements have been assessed at the federal, state, and local levels. Effluent limitations are compared to controlled effluent levels where applicable."
