Membrane-Sorbent Hybrid System for Post-Combustion Carbon Capture

TDA Research, Inc. (TDA) is designing and constructing a 1.0 megawatt-electric (MWe)-scale membrane-sorbent hybrid post-combustion carbon capture system and evaluating its operation in a long-duration field test using industrial flue gas that closely resembles coal-fired flue gas. Their hybrid process consists of a polymeric membrane and low-temperature physical adsorbent to remove carbon dioxide (CO2) from flue gas.
