Modeling Granular Bed Filters Including Effects of Captured Dust and Re-entrainment

The present study is a first step, in developing a mathematical model for moving, granular bed filters. We treat the bed as one dimensional with the grains moving either concurrent or countercurrent to the gas. We also treat the dust as being monodisperse in size.
