NMR TECHNIQUES FOR THE STUDY OF BITUMENS

License(s):

Other (Open)

Nuclear magnetic resonance (nmr) has evolved into one of the most powerful tools for elucidation of the structures of organic substances. Although the development of improved instrumentation and techniques has encouraged the use of an increasing number of nuclides in nmr studies, from the point of view of bitumens, the nuclides of primary interest are 1H and 13C.
