Paraho Development Corporation has developed plans to construct and operate a full size module oil shale retort facility using Paraho retort technology. Previous demonstrations of the Paraho technology have proven the feasibility and reliability of the process on a semi-works scale. The primary purpose of the module program is to design, construct and operate a full scale modular facility to demonstrate the unique Paraho technology. The module program will be conducted on a scale adequate to demonstrate the socioeconomic and environmental impacts of comercial oil shale development.
