pH Sensitive Polymers for Improving Reservoir Sweep and Conformance

The overall research objective is to develop a low-cost, pH triggered polymer for use in polymer flooding to improve reservoir sweep efficiency and reservoir conformance in chemical flooding. The use of this polymer in conjunction with CO2 flooding will be investigated in detail since a combination of the two offers some unique synergistic benefits.
