PROCESS FOR UNDERGROUND GASIFICATION OF COAL

License(s):

Other (Open)

In the known processes for underground gasification of coal on one side the gasification agent is led to the zone to be gasified and on the other side the gas produced is taken to the surface. Between the introduction of the gasification agent and the removal of the gas there is either a section prepared by mining or a channel which can be formed in various ways, from which a combustion section is formed during the progress of gasification, in which the gasification reactions take place.
