PROJECT 13a: PARAMAGNETIC'S THROUGH-CASING RESISTIVITY TOOL

In 1984, with a grant from the DOE and under contract with the Gas Research Institute (GRI), Paramagnetic Logging, Inc. (PML), a Seattle engineering firm initiated research to develop a device for inductive logging through steelcase wellbores. The first step in the research was to prove the feasibility of through case resistivity logging. Subsequent objectives included the design, manufacture and testing of the tool.
