This bibliography includes reports published from 1977 through August 1985. In 1977 the US Geological Survey, in cooperation with the US DOE's Western Gas Sand Research Program, initiated a geological program to identify and characterize natural gas resources in low-permeability reservoirs in the Rocky Mountain region. These reservoirs are present at depths of less than 2,000 ft to greater than 20,000 ft.
