REACTIVITY OF RETORTED MICHIGAN ANTRIM OIL SHALE IN O2/N2 ATMOSPHERE

License(s):

Other (Open)

The reactivity and the kinetics of oxidation of retorted Michigan Antrim oil shale were determined for the final stage of the combustion process using thermogravimetric techniques. The variations in the reactivity of the residues are discussed in terms of the amount of oxygen uptake, pseudo-ignition temperature, peak reaction temperature, and the magnitude of the maximum oxidation rates.
