Final Report 11122-45 - This project is focused on identifying and evaluating the best approaches for the measurement and analytical characterization of the following waste streams and potential impacts associated with unconventional gas development: a) air emissions from fracturing fluid ponds, with a focus on accurate continuous monitoring; b) stray gases in water wells, with a focus on the development of a consistent and defensible approach for identifying the true source(s); and c) produced water, with a focus on real time measurements in the field (i.e. at the well site).
