REFINERY CRACKING OPERATIONS INTERIM REPORT JULY THROUGH SEPTEMBER, 1949

The refinery cracking plant was first operated on July 15, 1949. The initial run was atmospheric distillation followed by visbreaking and recycle cracking of crude shale oil. Two additional runs were made during the period covered by this report, both of which were recycle cracking runs using the reaction chamber and charging crude shale oil.
