At the request of the US Department of Energy, Laramie Energy Technology Center, a remote sensing study was performed at three experimental energy conversion projects in Rock Springs, Hanna, and Hoe Creek, Wyoming. Color infrared aerial photography was taken at all three sites and multispectral scanner data acquired at one (Hanna). These data were analyzed to provide an overhead reconnaissance of reclamation progress and comparison with earlier remote sensing overflights in August 1980.
