From October 28 to 30, 1980, a peer review session on instrumentation in Oil Shale Development was held in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This meeting was one of a continuing series dealing with various aspects of the Department of Energy's Oil Shale RD&D Program Management Plan. Instrumentation research presented included papers on remote and direct methods of rubble evaluation, flow/tracer modeling, rubble blasting evaluation, and instrumentation for retort stability and integrity.
