Retrofittable Advanced Combined Cycle Integration for Flexible Decarbonized Generation

General Electric Gas Power (GEGP), in collaboration with Linde Inc., Kiewit Engineering Group Inc., and Southern Company Services, is conducting a front-end engineering design (FEED) study for a “Generation 2” amine-based post-combustion carbon capture system integrated with an existing natural gas combined cycle (NGCC) power plant. The system is being designed to capture carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions with at least 95% efficiency.
