Robotic MFL Sensor for Monitoring and Inspection of Deepwater Risers

Critical service risers and pipes need routine inspection as part of integrity management programs. Sensors need performance qualification to determine if they will provide an adequate assessment. Rice University Graduate Students are evaluating new aspects of Magnetic Flux Leakage (MFL) for such service.
