"During the past quarter , work has continued on characterization of the thermophysical properties of oil shales. The research has concentrated on six main areas (a) ""low"" frequency, 50 Hz - 1 MHz dielectric studies (b) microwave dielectric spectroscopy in the range 1 MHa - 13 GHz (c) thermal conductivity studies (d) thermoacoustic analysis (e) differential scanning calorimetry, and (f) r f processing and prospecting applications."
