THE APPLICABILITY OF UNITED STATES COAL RESOURCES TO IN SITU GASIFICATION

Of an estimated US coal resource of 3.2 trillion tons, 1.55 trillion tons is potentially available for in situ gasification at depths between 200-6000 feet. Seven hundred fifty billion tons of that resource between 200-3000 feet below the earths surface is already mapped and explored. This report explains how this resource is derived and where its located.
