THE CHANGE OF EFFECTIVE THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY OF PIECES OF COAL (FROM THE DEPOSITS NEAR MOSCOW) AND OF OIL SHALE UPON HEATING

Other (Open)

There are not too many original or review articles on the determination of the thermal conductivity coefficient of various fuels at normal temperature, and even less publications on above determination at high temperature. Actually, it is not the intrinsic thermal conductivity coefficient which is determined at high temperature, but, due to the very nature of the fuel changing during the heating process, it is the value of the effective thermal conductivity. Some data on these coefficients are given in publications 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 for various fuels.
