During the past quarter, the primary emphasis of this research has been the study of H2S adsorption of spent shale retorted in nitrogen atmosphere and the stripping of ammonia and carbon dioxide forma model retort water. Extensive adsorption data in the form of breakthrough curves was obtained at three different temperatures and are presented in this report. Because of the large quantity of data, the analysis is not yet completed.
