Other (Open)

A simple algorithm has been developed to describe the permeability distributions of rubblized shale bed systems. Classical theories of flow in porous media systems were examined and utilized in a geometrical representation of time dependent Laplacian solutions. Whereas classical flow theories are employed in petroleum field surveys and line drive calculations, the low porosity shale formations are less indicative of this type of solution. Further investigation of packed bed flows, axial dispersion, channeling and tortuosity expression in continuing.
