To construct and put into operation a series of industrial stations of underground gasification of coal in the Donets, the Podmoskovnaya basin, and the eastern part of the USSR, employing the gas produced for power, the chemical industry, and the community is one of the tasks posed by the Third Stalin Five Year Plan for the Development of the National Economy of the USSR.
